Restaurant Review By Leslie Lau

If you havent ate northern style vietnamese food, then you havent really ate vietnamese food. Turtle Tower is well known for its northern style than any other restaurant in SF. Its famous dish is its noodle soup. Unlike other restaurants, these noodle are not clump together. Each noodle is individually independent, non-sticking, and silky smooth. There two locations in SF, one in the Tenderloin, and the other is in the richmond district. Both restaurants look like they are a hole in the wall but everyday it is pack with people trying to get a table. Sometime it gets so pack in the TL where you would have to share the table with another guest. The most popular dish is the chicken noodle soup. The chicken is as smooth as the noodle itself. The broth they use are all the same with their noodle soup. The service is fast and quick. I say you have to wait tops 10 minutes after you order for the food to come.

One bad thing i have to say is if your looking for dishes other than noodle soup, than this is not the place. Some dishes are ok but the price and the portions do not match at all. I tihnk it costs $7.00 for a three imperial rolls. Most of the rice dishes have more rice than the entree itself.

So if your noodle soup lover and have not tried this restaurant yet, than your not a noodle soup lover. I recommend this place for its fast service, great noodle soups, and being consistence.
